Dissident Project - American Pillars Reception

Speaker: Tahmineh Dehbozorgi

Friday, April 24

6:00PM – 8:00PM

NCA Cafeteria

This will be a private reception bringing together a select group of supporters, educators, and community leaders committed to advancing the pillars of a free society.

This evening will offer a closer look at the work of the Dissident Project and its growing partnership with Naples Classical Academy, highlighting how firsthand voices of freedom are shaping the next generation of American students.

The program will feature remarks from Iranian dissident Tahmineh Dehbozorgi, who will speak on the current situation in Iran and reflect on the enduring strength and global significance of American values. Leaders from Naples Classical Academy will also share brief remarks on the role of education in preserving these principles.

This reception is designed to provide an opportunity for meaningful conversation, connection, and a deeper understanding of how this work can expand.

Earlier in the day, Tahmineh will speak directly with students at Naples Classical Academy as part of the Dissident Project’s nationwide effort to bring the lived experiences of authoritarianism into American classrooms. The evening reception offers an opportunity to engage more deeply with that mission.

Drinks and light refreshments will be served.
