Competitive Sports
Naples Classical Academy offers a competitive athletics program to our scholar-athletes. NCA competes in many sports against other charter schools, as well as public and private schools. We are currently applying for a Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) membership and our high school teams compete in the Paradise Coast Athletic Conference.
Fall Sports
Registration for Fall sports programs are open following the conclusion of our Spring sports season and again prior to the start of Fall practice.

Registration for Winter sports programs are open one month prior to the start of preseason.

Registration
The NCA Athletics Registration Fee is $260 per player. The program’s budget is built solely with registration fees, so there are No Refunds, for any reason, including voluntary or involuntary departure from the program. The NCA Athletics Registration Match Program is designed to assist with a registration fee payment for a potential teammate that is economically unable to pay the fee. Please consider joining the Registration Match Program to benefit our athletics community. Registration Match payments are considered tax-deductible charitable donations.
What paperwork does my son or daughter need to do sports at NCA?
1. Register on the Naples Classical: https://naplesclassical.org/athletics/
2. Sport Physical (NOT A SCHOOL PHYSICAL) Your doctor can do the sports physical, they must fill out this form. https://fhsaa.com/documents/2023/3/3/EL2_Form.pdf
3. FHSAA EL03 (Consent and Release from Liability Certificate)-https://fhsaa.com/documents/2023/3/6/EL3_Form.pdf
4. Complete NFHS Courses
All the courses are free on NFHSLearn.com. At the end of each course, you will receive a certificate please save them, you will need to download them on Athletic Clearances.
A. Concussion in Sport
B. Sudden Cardiac Arrest
C. Heat Illness Prevention
6. Parents will need to submit paperwork to Athletic Clearance. (NO PAPERWORK WILL BE SUBMITTED TO THE FRONT OFFICE OR ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT)
Home Schooled Athletes
Home Schooled Athletes will need to complete and upload more paperwork in order to be eligible to play for NCA. These must be uploaded to your Athletic Clearance before your player can be cleared.
