I have been an educator for over 25 years. I taught Philosophy and Literature for a decade at various colleges and universities in the Boston area; I also taught in the Literature Department at Ave Maria University for ten years, and one year at Florida Atlantic University. For the past four years I have taught High School in Collier County, the last two of which were here at Naples Classical Academy, where I teach 6th, 10th, and 11th grade English Language Arts. I have a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from New York University. My area of expertise is in British Romantic poetry, with a special focus on the Nineteenth Century English poet, philosopher, an theologian Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
