My name is Matthew Byrne and I am the 7th grade ELA and Writing teacher here at NCA. In May 2025, I graduated from Hillsdale College with a B.A. in Philosophy, and a concentration in Classical Education. I am excited to be back near my hometown of 11 years, as I went to middle and high school at Donahue Academy, right down the road in Ave Maria, FL.
While my studies were not focused in Literature, I am nevertheless eager to teach students to appreciate good literature, as well as work on reading, writing, and grammar skills. Most importantly, I look forward to teaching students the good, true, and beautiful, and help them strive to become virtuous!
